The old farms of Posillipo: sleep b&b at 2 steps of the tradition there.
Along the street of Posillipo they exist the ancient cross that they lead to some farms, towers and villas, some of which can appreciate choosing the coastal streets which lead towards Mergellina.
An rural alley which fits from Via Posillipo and from Via Manzoni leads to the picturesque farm of Villanova, where it is the Church Santa Maria della Consolazione, built by Ferdinand Sanfelice, 1737, where it’s possible to admire some paintings of Paolo De Maio and a wash basin composed with reliefs of the first ‘500.
From here, following the ancient road plan often interrupted by the modern streets, we can go down in the cluster of houses called Porta Posillipo, at Sant' Antonio, and for the homonymous banisters in Mergellina, or continue in opposite direction, seeing magnificent sights and walking in a still relatively intact and green environment, toward the characteristic Farm of Santo Strato and its Churche where there are a paint of the sixteenth century and wooden sculptures of the seventeenth century.
Along Manzoni Street we reach Orazio Street, of big panoramic interest, whom ends in Mergellina near the station of the funicular of Posillipo.
